The whole gang except Daisy, Violet and Lily (who were preparing the contest entries) went back to the stadium to check out the preparations and so that Misty and Solidad could sign up. That's really the reason why Solidad was in Sinnoh, she wanted to enter the Water Pokemon Contest so she can earn another ribbon, which will help her get accepted for the Grand Festival. Misty simply wanted the ribbon so she could add it to her trophy case. The group was waiting for Misty and Solidad who were signing their names in the entry list Violet gave them. May and Drew spotted a Leafeon. Something May had always wanted ever since Eevee evolved to Glaceon.
"Awesome! A Leafeon! I've always wanted one!" May squealed. She took out her Pokedex.
"Leafeon, the leaf Pokemon. Like a plant it uses photosynthesis, as a result it is always enveloped in clean air." the Pokedex informed her.
"Interesting, it's already evolved. Must be a strong Pokemon!" Drew observed.
"Yeah. And I'm capturing it! Blazeiken on stage!" May called out.
"Blaze!" it popped out.
"Blazeiken use flamethrower!" May command
